Covid-19 UPDATE - Our current and evolving policy is as follows:
December 23, 2020
We are happy to announce that massage therapy services will be resuming at our clinic, effective immediately. The Alberta Government has amended the previous legislation to allow massage therapists to provide their much needed services again. The one new stipulation is that a recommendation note from a regulated health professional is required in order to access massage treatments. Fortunately, all of our clinic's physiotherapists are regulated health professionals and thus are able to provide the needed recommendation letter.
If you are in need of massage therapy, we ask that you call us, or book online as you would normally do. Upon your arrival, we will provide the letter of recommendation needed to receive treatment. We take the provincial regulations seriously, so please, self assess to determine if seeking treatment is necessary for you before booking an appointment.
(RMT Maria Batanes will be taking clients starting January 2nd and Student Therapist Alex Jamani will be adding another day to his schedule effective today)
We look forward to continuing to provide effective care in a safe environment for all of our clients! We are grateful for the opportunity you continue to give us to be your massage (and physio)therapists.
Thank you,
The Physi-Yogis Team
December 9, 2020
The Physi~Yogis have cancelled all MASSAGE therapy services, starting December 13 at 12:01am. This will be in effect for a minimum of 4 weeks. In person physiotherapy services remain open and unaffected.
November 10, 2020
The Physi~Yogis have resumed all physiotherapy and massage therapy services, both of which can be booked through our online booking system. We are confident that we can offer safe in-person services with current precautions in place. We are continuing to follow the recommendations of Alberta Health and the Infection Control Standard Of Practice from the Alberta Physiotherapy Association to prevent the spread of illness.
To keep delivering high quality care to our valued clients who are unable to come into the clinic, we are offering online remote physiotherapy. These one-on-one telehealth / remote physio appointment sessions allow us to assess injuries and provide home based solutions and exercises for pain and mobility problems. These telehealth appointments can only be booked over the phone at this time.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our business!
